et_flex_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p class=\"pdq2pgselectionanchorcontainer\">The <strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">SNCO \u201cRepublican Veterinary-Sanitary and Phytosanitary Laboratory Services Center\u201d (SNCO \u201cRVSPLSC\u201d)<\/span><\/strong><b>,<\/b> operating under the Food Safety Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia, was established in its current form pursuant to <a href=\"https:\/\/arlis.am\/hy\/acts\/68138\/latest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Decision No. 631-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia dated 5 May 2011<\/span><\/strong><\/a> and is the legal successor of the SNCO \u201cRepublican Veterinary Anti-Epidemic and Diagnostic Center.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/arlis.am\/hy\/acts\/149273\/latest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Decision No. 103-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia dated 13 January 2005<\/span><\/strong><\/a><b>, <\/b>the main subject and objectives of the organization\u2019s activities are:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>laboratory diagnosis of animal diseases, including diseases of birds, fur-bearing animals, fish and bees;<\/li>\n<li>organization of examinations of products and raw materials of animal origin;<\/li>\n<li>implementation of seromonitoring;<\/li>\n<li>conducting serological examinations;<\/li>\n<li>detection within the territory of the Republic of Armenia of plant quarantine organisms, diseases and weeds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Under the same Decision, the SNCO \u201cRVSPLSC\u201d was authorized to carry out the following types of entrepreneurial activities:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>veterinary-sanitary examination of products and raw materials of animal and plant origin;<\/li>\n<li>diagnosis of animal diseases using laboratory and other methods;<\/li>\n<li>conducting microbiological, serological, toxicological and parasitological examinations;<\/li>\n<li>conducting clinical examinations and investigations of farm animals;<\/li>\n<li>laboratory examination of plants, plant protection products, products of plant and animal origin, and regulated articles imported into or exported from the Republic of Armenia by legal entities and individuals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The organization\u2019s activities are aimed at <strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">providing the Food Safety Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia with the laboratory testing and diagnostic tools required for its inspection and control functions<\/span><\/strong><b>.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The veterinary, food safety and phytosanitary testing laboratories of the SNCO \u201cRVSPLSC\u201d have been accredited by the <strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">\u201cNational Accreditation Body\u201d State Non-Commercial Organization of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia<\/span><\/strong> in accordance with <strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">GOST ISO\/IEC 17025-2019<\/span><\/strong> and are included in the <strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Unified Register of Testing Laboratories of the Eurasian Economic Union<\/span><\/strong><b>.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>For the <strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">food safety and veterinary testing scopes<\/span><\/strong>, the laboratories also hold international-format accreditation in accordance with <strong><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">ISO\/IEC
