The Reference Testing Laboratory for Espesially Dangerous Pathogens

The Reference Testing Laboratory for Espesially Dangerous Pathogens conducts laboratory diagnosis of animal diseases in accordance with the standards and methodologies of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), using microbiological, serological, parasitological and other diagnostic methods. The laboratory provides diagnostic testing for animal diseases, including diseases of birds, fur-bearing animals, fish and bees.

The laboratory is a newly constructed specialized facility, commissioned in 2016, and is equipped with a modern range of analytical instruments and related equipment. It is the only laboratory in the Republic of Armenia accredited for the diagnosis of animal diseases.

The laboratory is accredited by the “National Accreditation Body” State Non-Commercial Organization of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia in accordance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 and is included in the Unified Register of Testing Laboratories of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The laboratory is also accredited in the international format in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and is certified according to ISO 35001:2019, Biorisk Management.

Working days: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:20.
